Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his daughter on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “Finally, after many anxious months, we have the first sign of life from you in the form of Mietek’s card sent to Janeczka, from which, to our greatest joy, we learn that you are healthy – which is the most important thing today. It’s just a pity that Hala herself doesn’t write anything; apparently, she also writes little and sparsely to her brother and Bronka, which surprises me a lot, because you probably have enough time there. I think that your family there deserves to have frequent news from you which they could share with us. I ask you very much, beloved Haluś, not to forget about us and them, for after all reading letters from dispersed children is the only bright ray in these terrible times!”
