From the contents of the letter (original spelling): "the always painful and weak heart of dear Mother could not endure these torments and when the hour of liberation from the Nazi ordeal finally came, we returned broken and sick - poor Mother is being treated in a hospital in Praga under the supervision of our brave dear Ewa, while since April I have been living at dear Janeka's in her villa in Konstancin, 8 Potulickich Street, where I am resting and slowly regaining my health and strength under her supervision and care". | MW
