Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his daughter on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “In your letter we found not only fragrant flowers for Mother’s grave, but your heart filled with love, weeping for her who had left us forever a year ago, plunging us into unutterable sorrow. Today, we’re all gathered at her grave in our minds, we remember better times, when she looked after us in our household, we pray for the peace of her soul, and we swear that in our future lives, we’ll be guided by her instructions and teachings, the essence of which was that siblings should love one another and support one another in times of need.”
