Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to his children on 2 pages. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “Beloved Ewa certainly wrote to you that she had brought the sacred ashes of our unforgettable Mother to Warsaw and buried them in the Jewish cemetery on the hill, directly in front of the entrance, in the area for the meritorious, and she left there the flowers you sent from Palestine. When the frosts cease, we’ll have the grave supported by foundations and before leaving we’ll erect a modest monument that would indicate the children, should they wish to visit the grave, from where they should direct their reflections and prayers for the peace of her soul.”
