Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

The letter from Leonard Lawendel to his brother-in-law on 1 card. From the contents of the letter (original spelling): "Yesterday, finally, after a long wait, I received an English visa and in about 10 to 15 days, that is, as soon as I get a place on a ship, I am going to England. At the same time I am trying to get a school for Wanda, and Janek also wants to send Andrzej to boarding school. I hope that Ewa will be able to come in a few months' time, when I will already be there; of course Janka will also try, perhaps through Jones, to obtain the right to enter England. Soon after my arrival I'll write to you and give you an account of the conditions there, and if I don't manage to find a job there, I'll ask you for protection from Jones or other friends of yours". | MW
