Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Halina Kraus to her brother on 1 page. From the body of the letter (original spelling): “Finally a sign of life from you. Today we’ve received the birthday dispatch – it was worth being born! I didn’t understand your silence. Now it’s you, in turn, who are lazy. I invariably regret that I wasn’t able to provide you with my sisterly help and friendship in those moments when you might have needed it. I envy Bronka for being with you. Although I don’t know the direct cause of your separation from Greta, I understand that you must have gone through a lot of unpleasant, hard times, and that’s all I care about and worry about at the moment.”
