Letter to Władysław Glocer

part of the collection

Letter from Teofil Glocer to W.Z. Haugland on 1 page. From the body of the letter: “Since April this year, I’ve been here in Konstancin, near Warsaw, in the home of my daughter – who lost her husband, a Yugoslavian consul, in the Warsaw Uprising – where, under her care and the supervision of her my other daughter, who’s a physician, I’m now recovering. The rest of the children, whom the good Lord removed in time from Warsaw, and especially my son Walter in N.Y., are all constantly thinking of me and my sisters with their children, and they try to alleviate our present hardship as much as possible, so that we lack practically nothing.”
