Letter to Wojciech Przybyszewski

part of the collection

The letter and envelope addressed to Wojciech Przybyszewski, sent after the return from another speleological expedition to Spain, in which however Wojciech Przybyszewski did not participate. The author apologises for the delay in correspondence, caused by work, social life and the forthcoming exhibition. Teodor Bok mentions that he is currently working on a complicated sculpture, which he hopes to complete soon.

He thanks his friend for the book he has received, and notes that he has no time for it, reading only a few pages of Rękopis znalezionego w Saragossie (The Manuscript Found in Saragossa) before bed.

The trip to Spain was, as he states, rather unsuccessful and very unlucky, but Bok met old friends during it, which he is glad about, he describes the caves he conquered with his companion and the monuments he visited in Spain and the Prado Museum ("the collections are phenomenal, but I am not too enthusiastic about the exuberant Spanish expressionism").

He looks forward to his friend's visit in January, confirms the possibility of an overnight stay also in Stockholm for him and the friend accompanying Wojciech Przybyszewski.
