Letter to Wojciech Przybyszewski

part of the collection

The letter with envelope. Bok informs us that he has sent to Warsaw two books: a catalogue of porcelain signs and a dictionary of ceramics and porcelain, both in English. He has also seen an American item, which, however, he has not acquired due to the high price. He mentions that he is working on three sculptures at the same time, and has been offered a cover (for an unspecified publishing house). He has defended his diploma, which went extremely well, and his exhibition in Germany - which is to last 6 weeks - has been confirmed. He regrets that he does not know any foreign language and states that he should start learning one. He writes the letter during what he calls a lyrical evening, the day before it was St John's night, bonfires were burning all over Copenhagen. He met a girl, half Spanish by blood, and fell in love with her immediately. He stopped dreaming about dinosaurs, but continued to share his deep geological and natural knowledge with people. After leaving Copenhagen, a letter from "Mała" (Wojciech Przybyszewski's wife) reached him, but he does not open it and keeps it as a relic.
