Marek Szwarc's student record book of the Imperial and Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków

Although Marek Szwarc did not enrol at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, his home archive for years held an index to the C.K. [Imperial and Royal] Academy, issued in 1919. [imperial royal, sic!] Academy issued in 1919. Szwarc went to Kraków at the turn of 1918 and 1919 to continue his sculpture studies in Konstanty Laszczka's class, which he had begun in Paris before the First World War. The sections in question were left blank in the index, but Szwarc wrote practical information and addressed vital to him on the last pages and made small drawings and caricatures. After a few months, in the same year of 1919, Szwarc returned to Łódź.
