A pair of white openwork gloves. The gloves are finished with openwork embroidery at the bottom. Embroidery in the form of flowers (above) and decorative triangles (at the end).

The presented gloves were worn by Henie Lehrer (née Mühlrad), grandmother of the donor (Ewa Bocewicz) from her mother's side, Chana Rifka Elner (née Lehrer), on her wedding day. Thanks to a marriage certificate that the donor managed to find in the archives, we know that the wedding of Henie née Mühlard and Leib Lehrer took place on 09.09.1912 in Skole (today in Ukraine).

The gloves were probably Chana Rifka Elner's only memento of her family - she was the only one of the Lehrer family to survive the Holocaust . The donor found the gloves in her mother's house after the death of the latter in 1966.
