The photograph shows two men in scouting uniforms (tutors; on the left Marceli Najder) and a man in uniform (most probably border service). Between the men (on the right of the man in uniform) you can see the border post of the Second Republic of Poland. On the top of the pole there is a shield with an eagle with outstretched wings (the coat of arms of Poland). Below it, there is an additional plaque with the Roman number "I" visible. It is a pole from the Polish-Romanian border. The number indicates the number of the area into which the border strip was divided. As a result of border line transformations after WWII, Poland no longer borders Romania.
