Photograph of Aleksandra Rozengarten with a large bow in her hair, and of her carer, Jadwiga Plackota. The photograph dates from the period of hiding following her escape from the Warsaw ghetto, and was taken inside a house in Radziwiłłów. A woman reads a book to a child, the girl looks into the lens. On the table there is a tablecloth, flowers, perhaps a file of photographs. In the background is a wall with floral patterned wallpaper and there are also visible hanging photographs.
