Portrait – three-quarter bust – of a man in dark full dress uniform, without headgear. Moustache ends combed upwards. Light-coloured and uniform background. Calculations on the back in black pen: sum: 10 | 126 | 4 | 5 | 3½ [?] | 17 | 5 | / 171 (the sum should be 170, unless ½ is rounded). The photo was in the album in the window on the top right of page 12 of the recto side, next to many other portraits of probably the same man and perhaps with his business card. It is possible that the photo is earlier than others from Chuhuyev - the print does not mention the 1896 award to the photographic studio. The photographed man also appears slightly younger than in other photographs.
