Memoriabilia of the Terbilers and the Kacmans

The pre-war photograph of Chana Terbiler and Abram Kacman with their son Walisz. The photo was developed in a studio in Chelm, possibly also taken in Chelm (in the vicinity of which the family stayed on 1 September 1939), or near Warsaw, where the family lived before the war. Photo developed on Gevaert paper; edges serrated; stamp on reverse: Foto Film "Venus" Serja____ No. _____CHEŁM.[illegible] 70, [illegible] Narutowicza 2.

The photograph from a group of souvenir photographs which the Kacmans took with them when fleeing eastwards from the Germans.
