Photograph: golden jubilee of a Jewish couple in Goleszów

A black and white photographic print showing a group of several dozen people in festive attire. Women, men and children are standing or sitting in several rows. Some of them are holding musical instruments. There is a wooden building in the background. From the inscription on a sign above the entrance door ("Liquor selling [...] ANE FRANZBLAU"), the building appears to be a tavern. According to a handwritten annotation made in pencil on the back, the photograph was taken in Goleszów in 1908 and depicts participants in the golden jubilee (50th wedding anniversary) celebration of a Jewish couple. Part of the inscription above the door perhaps refers to the family name: Franzblau. A stamp on the back indicates that the print was made by August Jaderny, a photographer from Mielec.
