Photograph of Guta [Gustawa] Hochsinger sitting in a tree

The photograph of Gustawa (Guta) Hochsinger, the mother of Natalia Zajczyk, sitting in a tree.

We know very little about Gustawa Hochsinger née Rajchman (Reichman), the mother of Natalia Zajczyk. In this photo, she is posing casually, sitting confidently on a massive tree branch, looking at the camera with seriousness. Her Jewish name was Gitla (see MPOLIN-A31.1.3), but in everyday life she used the name Guta, Gustaw or, as we read in her obituary - Gucia. Her death at the age of 65 plunged into grief and sorrow her large family, husband Bernard (Ber) and eight children: Anna, Natalia, Sabina, Bronisława, Józef, Stanisław, Salomon and David.
