Photograph of the Kacman and Rabinowicz families in a park

The photograph was taken in a park in Warsaw, probably by the fence of the Saski Garden, in the winter of 1938/1939 (date uncertain). Chana Terbiler's sister, Fajga Rabinowiczowa, who lived in Lublin, came with her children to visit Chana and Abram Kacman who lived in Warsaw. From left: Srulke-Izer (Israel) Rabinowicz, Fajga's son; Fajga; Chana Terbiler; Walisz Kacman; Luba Rabinowicz, Fajga's daughter; Rachela Rabinowicz, Fajga's other daughter; Abram Kacman.

Fajga and her entire Lublin family perished in the Holocaust.

The Kacmans took the photograph with them as they fled eastwards from the Germans.PK
