Photograph of a man and a woman from the page 9v of the Garnek family album

Studio photograph depicting a man and a woman in a waist-length view. The woman has smoothly combed hair parted to the left, earrings in her ears, and she is looking at the lens of the camera. She is wearing dark clothing adorned with a light shawl finished with Richelieu embroidery and fastened with a brooch under her neck.

The man has a mustache, hair swept upwards, parted to the left. He is dressed in a jacket, waistcoat, and a white shirt; a dark tie with a pattern known as fish scale. He is wearing pince-nez, popular during the Art Nouveau period, hence the speculative dating of the photograph. The edges of the print are straight. There is visible damage in the lower right corner of the print. On the reverse, near the upper left shorter edge, there is a blue stamp (oriented towards the edge): 2763 (possibly an identifier from the photographic studio developing the print)."
