Photograph of a man in military trenchcoat, from page 15v of the Garnek family album

The photograph shows a man in a uniform coat with epaulettes, a belt with a buckle tightened around his waist, dark boots, a cap with a large brim and a short visor; a visible (but unrecognisable) badge above the visor. The man is resting his right elbow against a tall bamboo flower stand, with his left arm held upright along his body. He is of a similar age to the other photographs in the album taken in Finland (from pages 11v and 12r) and has a similar moustache. The photograph was taken against a dark curtain, plywood (?) boards visible on the floor. Two prints of this photograph were inserted one under the other in the last slot of the Garnek family photo album. One print is fainter and has a diagonal stripe at the level of the portrait subject's head – either a developing defect or resulting from improper storage. The same print also shows a light spot at the upper edge of the cap and a light green dot in the lower left corner. On the back of both prints there are postcard prints, in the upper right corner of the back there is a visible sign: "Ko [?]", with extensive underlining curling on the left and with a small motif referring to three leaves between the curl and the letter K. It is possible, however, that this is an inscription in decorative letters: ,"СУК'' or "CyKo"?
