Garnek family photo album: who were the people depicted in these old photos?

The photograph shows two girls in white blouses, one sitting and the other standing. The seated girl has straight hair gathered at the back and a fringe, a sailor-style collar fastened with a bow, and her hands clasped on her knee. The girl who is standing behind her has wavy hair flowing loosely on the sides of her face, a necklace around her neck, and a ring visible on the ring finger of her right hand. The right edge of the photograph is slightly cropped at an angle.
