Silver coloured, plated platter fork. Its three tines are flattened and elongated. The fork's handle is flat and widens towards the bottom. The lower part of the handle is decorated with an art déco geometric motif. The decoration consists of two simple grooves (thinnings) running along both edges of the handle. The end of the handle is bevelled where it has been thinned.

Platter cutlery tends to be larger than their dinner counterparts. This is because they are not used directly for eating food, but only for putting it on the plate. This kind of cutlery is placed next to the serving platters so that guests can reach for the food they wish to eat without touching the food intended for all the guests with the fork they are using. Platter cutlery, as well as ladles or servers used to place certain dishes on a plate, was also commonly referred to as "central cutlery"
