Portrait photograph of Chackel Finkelsztejn

According to the "Informator na województwo białostockie na rok 1932" (Guide to Białystok Province for 1932), see p. 11, the Finkelsztejns (Finkelszajns? Finkelsteins?) lived in Białystok, where they had a tannery at 15 Rabińska street. Unfortunately, we do not have much information about them, we do not even know the names of members of this part of the family, such as, for example, Chackel's, that is Fanny's (Krystyna) Kurc grandfather's, wife; actually the Guide cited above is one of the few retrieved traces about the activity of this locally important family.
