Garnek family photo album: who were the people depicted in these old photos?

A portrait photograph of a man, bust shot, face in a three-quarter view: high forehead, sharp nose, downward-pointing mustache. The man is dressed in a white shirt with a standing collar, underneath a striped tie; a single-breasted jacket with a notch lapel and a slanted top pocket. His head is uncovered. The photograph is on cardboard, within an oval frame. There is wear on the top layer near the centre of the photograph.
