Portrait photograph of a man in a pelisse, from page 7v of the Garnek family album

An identification photograph of a man with mustache and gray hair swept to the side, wearing a pelisse. He is looking straight ahead. The man was photographed against a black background. The print has straight edges and narrow frame lines. There is a flaw in the development of the photograph at the upper left corner: the black background line extends into the left frame line. In the lower right corner of the portrait photograph, there is a semi-circular gap with which the photograph was developed, which appears to be an extension of frame lines (of the same colour); it is likely a secondary print from a re-photographed ID photograph, cropped at the seal. In the photo album, during the period of its transfer to the museum collection, the photograph was placed in the right upper slot on the verso side of page 7, below a photograph of a woman inserted into the same slot (with an earlier number in the records, MPOLIN-A58.1.21). This is a photograph with a similar gap; the photographs evidently form a pair, and it can be assumed that the woman and the man were married or, less likely, siblings.
