Presentation of a bag – an exhibit from the collection of the MHPJ. Visible fragment in red with partially visible inscription in dark brown letters: Saam. The image shows a fragment of an object from the POLIN Museum's collection – an advertisement bag from the so-called 'Aryan' Saam department store in Vienna, dating from ca. 1938 The bag bears the inscription: "Arisches Kaufhaus Jon. Saam. Wien 16., Thaliastr. 136", object inv. no.: MHŻP-B288.

One of nine paintings commissioned by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews and painted by Magdalena Leśniak, a graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. They were presented in the temporary exhibition 'Biographies of Things. Donations from the collection of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews' in 2013-2014.
