New Year’s greetings card in an embossed gilded frame. Two elderly people are sitting under the “Tree of Life” (Hebrew: Etz Hayim, written on the trunk), receiving greetings from a boy accompanied by his parents. In the crown of the tree, there is a band with text: “Shanah tovah” (transl. “Happy New Year”). The tree bears fruit with Hebrew inscriptions (transl.): “jug”, “no worries”, “rest”, “cure”. Above the parents’ heads, there is Hebrew text in four lines – traditional wishes (of various valuables). At the bottom, in the grass, greetings (transl.): “Happy New Year, Friend”.

Text on the reverse: “With wishes of many blessings, your son Max”.
