Postcard with the Gusta Batist company imprint

The postcard is both a business card and an advertisement for the Tarnów-based company Gusta Batist. At the top is printed the inscription: "FIRST-CLASS MANUFACTURING AND WHOLESALE OF WOMEN'S, MEN'S AND CHILDREN'S SHEEPSKIN COATS and ALL SHEEPSKIN CLOTHING/ GUSTA BATIST, TARNÓW/ 3 WEKSLARSKA STREET. YEAR OF ESTABLISHMENT 1896" On the left side of the card is a drawing of the company's flagship product: a brown sheepskin coat with black fur trim. On the right side, there is a court fee stamp of 50 groszy and the stamp of the Tarnów Municipal Office. On the back was a handwritten note stating that 409 garment items had been accepted for dyeing. 300 pieces were ordered to be dyed in black and 109 pieces to be dyed in ash grey. The entire procedure, probably including the drawing up of the agreement, took place in Tarnów.
