A postcard with a company imprint of Herman Lierd from Tarnów. The reverse side of the postcard is divided into two fields. On the top left side there is an imprint with the company's details: "HERMAN LIERD/ MEN'S AND CHILDREN'S CLOTHING/ TARNÓW, 15 Wielkie Schody Street". On the right side there is ruling for the address, above which there are two stamps of stamp duty with a total value of 50 groszy. The content of the correspondence shows that the sender, i.e. – as the signature indicates – Herman Lierd himself, firmly demands that the recipient accept the money (in the amount of PLN 500), and in the event of refusal, the case may be referred to court. Lierd wants to avoid a court case, so he aims to close the issue as quickly as possible. He justifies his willingness to settle the matter by the fact that he has just completed construction work and is currently solvent.
