Postcard with the Men's and Children's Clothing Factory Ge-Re-Ta company imprint, Izaak Gutter and Maks Rewitz

A company postcard of the Men's and Children's Clothing factory GE-RE-TA operating in Tarnów, owned by Izak Gutter and Maks Rewitz. The reverse was divided into three fields: address, correspondence and company data. The factory specialised in the production of clothing for men and children. The factory was located at 8 Wekslarska Street, but the company imprint originally indicated Franciszkańska Street as the plant's headquarters. However, the latter name was crossed out, and the name of Wekslarska Street was handwritten next to it. This was probably done by one of the owners, Maks Rewitz, as indicated by the handwriting (his signature appears under the correspondence). Under the sender's signature is the company stamp of Gutter and Röwitz (!). The addressee of the card was an unknown individual named S. Koch residing in Kosovo near Kolomyia, now in Ukraine. The postcard has two stamps in green and purple and two stamps of the Tarnów post office with the date 21 March 1938. From the content of the letter, it appears that the addressee would receive a check in the amount of 40 zlotys, provided he ceased further claims.
