Postcard: Polnische Judentypen (Jewish Types)

A postcard from Galicia, with ruling for the address, on the reverse there is a black and white reprint of Gottlieb's drawing. An address in Bóbrka is written in pencil on the side with ruling, and there are also two postmarks ("Lviv" and "Bóbrka"). The picture depicts a middle-aged Jewish man with payot, without a beard, wearing a fur cap, a long ankle-length coat and with a book in his right hand. Next to the image at the top left is an inscription printed in red font: "Polnische Judentypen/ Jewish Types (!)", and along the left edge: "No. 72 issued by Arnold Fenichl in Tarnów Imitation prohibited". In the upper right corner of the picture, in the empty space, the content of the correspondence, poorly legible, is written in pencil. The postcard was printed by the printer Arnold Fenichl, whose printing house operated in the years 1905–1918 in Tarnów and Vienna.
