part of the collection
Walizka z 93 ulicy. Kolekcja Henryka Golda

A poster advertising a concert, by Henryk Gold, in Paris.

The poster features a half-length portrait of a middle-aged man. He is wearing a dinner suit and holds a violin in his hands. He is leaning slightly toward the instrument (to the right side of the image). The musician’s image is in black and white, set against a yellow background.

Below the portrait, there is a bold, uppercase inscription: "HENRY GOLD", in red letters on a white background.

In the upper-left corner, there is the word “SATURNE”, in black uppercase letters (the name of the Saturne Records label), with the logo below.

On the poster’s right edge (vertically) is the text:

Imp. R. DELIGNE. 83, FG ST DENIS. PARIS (name and address of the printer).

The photograph used on the poster was taken at the well-known Harcourt Studio in Paris (established in 1933).
