Portrait of a praying Jew. The man is pictured in profile, leaning over a book in the bottom right corner of the painting. He is supporting his head with his left arm, partially hidden in the shadows, and closing his eyes. He has a high wrinkled forehead, a prominent nose, and grey hair falling to his temples, connecting with his sideburns and a long grey beard. He has a bushy grey moustache covering his lips. He is wearing a kippah on his head.

The painting was purchased for the collection of the National Museum of Przemyśl from a resident of Przemyśl in 1979.
