The Jewish hospital in Lublin was built with funds from the Jewish Religious Community. The author of the project was Marian Jarzyński.

The facility was opened in 1886. Initially, the hospital was occupied by 56 patients. In the 1930s it also included three residential buildings, a stable, a mortuary and a cellar. There was a synagogue inside the building. In 1942, the Nazi Germans murdered the patients and staff and set up a Wehrmacht hospital there. In 1949, the hospital was handed over to the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University to be used as a gynaecology and obstetrics clinic.
