The receipt issued by the District Liquidation Office in Dzierżoniów (no. 070365), stating that Abram Kacman paid "the amount of PLN 3,645.00 on account of payment for the declared post-German movables". See inv. no. MHŻP-B1133 - a later statement of property ownership.

Part of the collection comes from this period, the end of the 1940s. These are documents which show the family's attempts to normalise their living conditions as they built a new life after arriving in Poland from the USSR (and, at the same time, they are a testimony to the functioning of the Polish administration which managed the post-German property in the so-called Recovered Territories).
