Sefer acamot Josef

Sefer acamot Josef (Hebrew: Joseph's Book of Bones) is a commentary on family rights by a rabbi from Warsaw, Joseph son of Isaac. The copy from the collection of the Regional Museum in Pińczów is 133 pages long. There is an imprint in Russian that the work was approved by the censorship on 15 September 1882. It was published in the "Meir Jehiel ha-Alter and Associates" printing house at 2 Miła Street in Warsaw.

In the school year 1930–1931, at this address in Warsaw there was a boy's primary school owned by Ruwen Berman. It had 6 sets used by 163 pupils.

The second part of the book is Sefer pitchej twuna (Hebrew: The Book of Open-Mindedness), published by Joseph Briz Unterhendler, 34 św. Jerska Street in Warsaw. Number of pages: 82. There is an imprint in Russian that the copy was approved by the censorship on 29 November 1884.

Around the middle of the 19th century, there were already 33 Jewish printing houses in Warsaw, 13 of which published books in Hebrew.
