Silver platter

The round decorative platter from the collection of the Lublin Open Air Village Museum is made of silver. It has a wide, curved rim divided into six parts by transverse strips. In the centre, there is the Star of David surrounded by six circularly arranged lanceolate leaves. It cannot be ruled out that the point-applied decoration was added later, not when the item was created. Hallmarks are visible on the bottom: the mark of the goldsmith and the Prussian state - pictorial marks of a crescent and a crown topped with a cross, "830", a shield with the monogram "GK" and an illegible mark.

The item was purchased for the Museum in 2007 from a collector from Warsaw who had bought it from the "Desa" State Enterprise in Warsaw.
