The only work with a vertical composition from a set of five so-called 'small planks' in the collection of the POLIN Museum, which Krystiana Robb-Narbutt gave to her friend Teodor Bok. As in the artist's other works from this series, the text of the dedication is integrated into the composition – it constitutes a frame for the background, perhaps a window or a mirror. In addition, the artist included the date of the work on a painted card placed in the pot, on which one would expect to see the name of the plant or a description of how to care for it. Such a game with the viewer to test perceptiveness, drawn from the modern tradition, enlivens this extremely subdued and simplistic composition. Judging by the dedication, the work was originally created for her husband, Michał, but it ended up in Bok's possession, most likely as a gift to him.
