The archives, photographs and letters donated to the POLIN Museum by Yael Rosner (Zosia Zajczyk) include this photograph of her aunt, Anna Zimmermann née Hochsinger. After Natalia Zajczyk died in 1950, Anna created a loving home for her niece in Israel.

When the photograph was taken in Aliza Holc's Atelier in Jerusalem, Anna Zimmermann was already an older, still strikingly elegant woman. | Renata Piątkowska
