Studio photograph of Mosze Rodzynek

The photograph shows Mosze Rodzynek, father of Ewa Sarnecka. Moszko Boruch Rodzynek (b. 04.03.1893 in Biała Podlaska), son of Szmerk and Frejda (Archive of the Jewish Historical Institute, Registration Office in Biała Podlaska. Charters of the Jewish population displaced to Międzyrzec Podlaski), was a well-known political activist, one of the founders of the Bund (to learn more about the party, see https://sztetl.org.pl/pl/slownik/bund) in Biała Podlaska. He was representing his party as a member of the city council (for more on this activity, see Biała Podlaska Memorial Book, https://www.jewishgen.org/yizkor/Biala_Podlaska/Biala_Podlaska.html#TOC358, accessed 18.11.2021). During the Polish-Soviet War, together with other Bund activists, he was arrested and imprisoned in the Internment Camp in Kraków-Dąbie. After the Germans entered, he joined the Judenrat as the president of the Jewish Social Self-Help.
