Synagogue in Kalush (9 Szewczenka Street)

Photographic documentation of the site

It is known that in addition to the main synagogue in Kalush, there were three other synagogues in the city: the Stretener synagogue, the Szabtaj Mendel synagogue, and the Hasidic synagogue, during the interwar period headed by Rabbi Rappoport of Perehinske. One of them, located at the current address of 9 Szewczenko Street (вулиця Шевченка 9), and erected at the beginning of the 20th century, after the post-war reconstruction, now houses the Historical and Regional Museum of the Kaluga Land (Ukr. Istoryko-krajeznawczyj muzej Kałuszczyny, Історико-краєзнавчий музей Калущини).
