Objects

One of 5 black and white videos with sound in the style of old cinema, included in the work "Szukaliśmy w popiołach”. This work was created with the use of archaeological objects from the collection of the POLIN Museum. The video shows a damaged metal teapot without a lid. The item is placed on a contemporary, bright kitchen counter, next to a ceramic hob and a porcelain teapot. The hands visible in the subsequent parts imitate the process of preparing the tea - placing a tea bag in a cup, pouring water from a teapot. Other activities are accompanied by sounds - moving dishes, pouring water, putting the dishes on the counter. The same item is shown in the photograph included in this set (MPOLIN-M1382/1).
