Inside one of Kazimierz's tenement houses, located at 35 Szeroka Street, a wooden beam with a date written in the Hebrew alphabet corresponding to the year 1845 has been preserved. The building is two-storey, rectangular in plan, integrated into the frontage of the odd-numbered side of Szeroka Street. Sources from the inter-war period mention the Grossvater family living here. Currently, the entire interior of the well-maintained monument is occupied by Police Station I in Kraków.
