Torah mantle

Torah mantle made of navy-blue velvet with appliqué elements sewn with yellow ribbon with gold thread. The mantle consists of a single piece of fabric sewn together along the longer edge; it forms a sort of a roll or tube open on the shorter sides. The lining is made of navy-blue faux silk. The front of the mantle is decorated with an embroidered Star of David and two bands along the shorter sides.

The items were donated to the collection of the National Museum of Przemyśl by the Congregation of Mosaic Faith in Przemyśl in 1974.
