Typewriter in yellow with black keys and a black case in the form of a removable cover. It is a portable typewriter that belonged to Bogdan Wojdowski. We do not know since when he owned the typewriter, but if he bought (or received) it in the early 1970s, he may have already use it to write Chleb rzucony umarłym, his magnum opus.

Although the typewriter is American, it has been adapted for typing in Polish, as it includes keys with Polish characters. They may have been made in Poland.

One of the mementos donated to the POLIN Museum collection by Maria Iwaszkiewicz-Wojdowska.
