Untitled

Jabłonowski, Anton (?-?)

Undated sketch. Central composition, head pictured en face, covered with a wide-brimmed hat with a characteristic flat crown. The crown is only roughly outlined, barely visible. The face is long, gaunt, with protruding cheekbones. The eyes are big, dark, with a distinct contour, deep-set. The nose is straight, with a slightly humped bridge. The model has sunken cheeks, a beard and a moustache. The forehead is not covered with a fringe, it is hidden under the hat pulled low down the head. Tightly curled payot are peeking from underneath the hat on the sides of the head.

The item forms part of the prewar collection of the National Museum of Przemyśl. Due to missing inventory documentation it has been impossible to determine how it became property of the Museum.
