Vest

It is part of the collection

The waistcoat is made of purple silk with a ribbed texture, referring to gothic styling. It consists of four halves. The front half is made of purple silk, in a row weave which forms characteristic small stripes across the surface, and is lined with plain black silk; the back half (back) is of unlined black silk. The waistcoat has soft-line petticoats, without indentations, which widen at the lower end to form a semi-circular (teardrop) shape. The front panels (at waist level) have pockets without flaps. The waistcoat is fastened with three decorative buttons on the left front made of silver-coloured metal. In the centre of each is a green glass bead imitating a precious stone. The edges of the buttons are additionally decorated with a geometric pattern in the form of regular incisions. On the right field, there are three holes trimmed with cotton string. At the back, there is a waist belt sewn in silk with a metal buckle. Construction fabric has been placed inside the front halves (between the dress fabric and the silk lining).
