Traczewska, Agnieszka (1969-)

A woman portrayed at the Wailing Wall (Hebrew: Kotel ha-Maarawi, Western Wall), the remains of the outer wall of the Second Temple of Jerusalem. The space at the wall has been set aside separately for women and separately for men, giving them the opportunity to gather and pray. The western dress of the girl captured in the photograph sets her apart from the women around her.
