Board from the novella about Georges Perec (1932–1986), a French writer and author of experimental films, descendant of a family of Jewish immigrants from Poland. When travelling by train to Warsaw, Georges has a dream in which he talks with his ‘father’, Itzhok Lejb Perec (1851–1915), an outstanding author writing in Yiddish, known as the father of Jewish poetry.
