Olga Siemaszko's works: the "Hand of the Dead" project

Drawing of a human group, Auschwitz female prisoners: heads and busts. The shape they form together resembles a single head. This is a sketch for one of the unused illustrations for – presumably – the short story "Zina" by Maria Zarębińska-Broniewska (MPOLIN-M1632, see note for this object).
